Jobs briefed properly

How a job runs, start to finish

1

We send the job

You get the scope, the address, tenant contact details and how to get in, all in one place.

2

You say yes or no

Confirm a time that works, or pass early if you can't fit it in. Being upfront never counts against you.

3

You do the work

Complete it to New Zealand standards, treating the home and the people in it with respect.

4

You show the results

Send your notes and before-and-after photos where they help, so the owner can see exactly what happened.

5

You get paid

An itemised invoice that matches the scope is processed promptly, with no surprises on either side.

6

The owner hears about it

We pass your work and photos on to the owner. Good jobs get noticed, and remembered.

Contractor FAQs

How do I become approved?

Read the standards on this page, complete the registration form and confirm the documents you hold. Then reply to our confirmation email with copies attached. Once we've reviewed everything, we confirm your approved status and send your welcome pack.

How long does approval take?

We reply to every application within two working days. If your documents are complete, approval typically takes less than a week.

Will I receive ongoing work?

Approved status makes you eligible for work across our portfolio, but no volume is guaranteed. Allocation depends on trade, availability, location, pricing and performance. Contractors who communicate well and do quality work naturally get called first.

Can sole traders apply?

Absolutely. Sole traders, partnerships and companies are all welcome. The same standards apply regardless of business size, we care about quality and professionalism, not headcount.

Do I need insurance?

Yes. Current public liability insurance is required, we recommend at least $1M cover for residential trade work. You'll give us the expiry date in your application and we'll get in touch before it lapses.

How are invoices processed?

Send an itemised invoice referencing the property address and our work order once the job is complete and documented. Correctly submitted invoices are processed efficiently following approval of the work.
